Commission Inquiry & FAQ
How do I make a press inquiry?

Do you take commissions?
Yes. I do take a select number of commissions. But first, I will try and talk you out of it with more cost-effective options available to you now. Please continue reading.
Will you make me a prom, pageant, or costume event dress?
Unfortunately, the high number of hours required and amount of fabric yardage necessary to produce a stunning, bespoke event gown from scratch are usually cost-prohibitive. Fast fashion has skewed the value of clothing into unsustainably low wages for custom dressmakers. If you are seeking a truly unique look, I recommend purchasing a sized-up, second-hand designer gown from Etsy or Ebay and investing in a quality tailor to achieve a perfect fit. It is more eco-friendly as most clothes end up in a landfill, will maximize your budget, support a tailor, and make an even stronger statement of style than anything trendy. Trust me. No one else will be wearing your look if you alter a gorgeous, vintage, second-hand dress. Sprinkle it with quality rhinestones for that extra sparkle. If you still want custom from me, skip the next question for pricing.
Will you make me a wedding gown?
My recommendation for a wedding gown is similar to the above. Wedding gowns are generally only worn once. Sometimes they are re-tailored into party dresses for prologned use. Rarely are they ever passed down anymore. To maximize your dress budget, I suggest exploring StillWhite for a sized-up, second-hand, designer gown that you can have tailored for a perfect fit. There you will find some of the most incredible and even custom-made designer gowns for a fraction of the price. My work tends to be more avant-garde than those traditional wedding gowns. While I am open to taking inspiration from existing gowns, I shy away from any commissions requesting that I copy another contemporary designer’s work. If you still want custom from me, keep reading for pricing.
I am still interested in a custom by you specifically. What would be the cost?
Most people find my work through my most elaborate, complicated, and costly designs. While the true price of a dress is subject to change depending on the choice of fabric and the complexity of the design, my current starting commission rate for a simple, polyester dress is $3,500 with shipping.
How do I contact you?
Please fill out the form below. My rigorous project queue only allows me to accept a select number of custom projects at any given time. Due to the large volume of inquiries, I am unable able to respond to all of them. However, if I believe I may be able to realize your vision as described within the provided budget and timeframe, I will reach out within 1-2 weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
